Probably none of us had seen a stack of 7,200 bananas at one place before, but a designer named Stefan Sagmeister has an ongoing exhibition at 76 Grand Street, New York, featuring a giant wall made of 7,200 real bananas!

I’ve been playing Sudoku a lot on my cell phone recently and being a Social Media lover for a while, I came to an idea to make a Sudoku using the logos of my favorite social media sites such as Digg, Stumble Upon, Facebook and so on.

PS : While searching for the logos I found this cool post by doshdosh, introducing 48 social news websites some of them I had not even heard of!

Want to find yourself a new interesting hobby? Josh Mckible has shared his cool idea about paper birds with everyone and is giving them all away, for free, at his site. These PDF paper cut-outs for downloads look really cool and seem like a fun project for paper enthusiasts and designers of all ages.Josh says:
I’ve been playing around lately with some paper craft designs of birds. Using paper is a really fun, cheap, fast way of designing and making toys. I’ve got 4 designs done so far, but I’m looking forward to making more.

Seems I should spend sometime making these cute birdies for my niece!

It’s now about a year since I got acquainted with Mozilla Firefox for the first time and immediately fell in love with this great open-source web browser at first sight! I enjoy using powerful Add-Ons to optimize and customize my web crawling. If you still use lame browsers such as internet explorer I beg you to try using firefox for at least a week and feel the difference between a professional web browser and an old clumsy one!
I thought it would be cool to share these gorgeous firefox wallpapers with you. If you know any other cool mozilla wallpaper resources please feel free to put the links in comments.

Lichtfaktor is a Cologne-based group that got its start in late 2006 when Marcel Panne, David Lüpschen and Tim Fehske gathered together to experiment with light.Since then the German group’s signature brand of light graffiti, or “light writing,” has transformed simple street science into a lucrative new genre of illuminative art, with major companies such as Absolut Vodka, Mark Ecko, Audi, Philips and PlayStation, paying Lichtfaktor to create innovative Ads for them.

It’s obvious that choosing a proper domain name for a website has a big role in the process of gaining popularity. So it’s worthy to spend sometime looking for a nice and easy domain before registering it cause it’s gonna be the website’s brand.
Grupthink user’s have made a list of domains which can easily be mispronounced into really ridiculous phrases. Some of the domains in the list do not exist anymore, but here is a list of top ten such domains which are currently active.I don’t know whether their owners knew the alternative pronunciation before registering the domain or not!
Do you think choosing such a domain name will help them swim faster?!

A dear friend of mine had forwarded this funny email to me and I thought you may enjoy reading this too and stop forwarding nonsense emails to your friends:

Dear All!
I wanted to thank all my friends and family who have forwarded chain
letters to me in 2006 & 2007.Because of your kindness:
- I stopped drinking Coca Cola after I found out that it’s good for removing toilet stains.
- I stopped going to the movies for fear of sitting on a needle infected with AIDS.
- I smell like a wet dog since I stopped using deodorants because they cause cancer.
- I don’t leave my car in the parking lot or any other place and sometimes I even have to walk about 7 blocks for fear that someone will drug me with a perfume sample and try to rob me. Continue reading →
